Based on polymer furniture found on East German MPi-AK-74N, PG-500 & LMG-K-500N prototypes, with the later set to enter NVA service in 1990 as an RPK replacement. The handguards are visually similar to the Wieger series but retain the standard AKM/AK74 configuration, while the pistol grip and buttstock were shared with the Wieger.

The lower handguard, pistol grip & stock are made of MJF Nylon 12 polymer. The upper handguards are original new old stock EG uppers which have been dyed black. The lower handguards have external ribbing and an internal profile based on EG bakelite handguards. The stock features a 10" length, internal reinforcement ribs for increased rigidity, rubber buttpad and custom crimped sling swivel. Just like the originals, the pistol grip has an internal storage compartment for a cleaning kit and oil bottle. The combination of extremely lightweight handguards and straight in-line 10" stock yields a fantastically balanced and comfortable rifle.
